MBP stands for Master Balloon Professional and refers to individuals who have obtained certification from Sempertex due to their exceptional skills in balloon decoration. Achieving this prestigious title requires successfully completing our recognition process, which meets our high standards for decoration.

How can I obtain the MBP certification?
To obtain the MBP certification, you must take a practical exam that is held on specific dates. The process to achieve the certification is as follows:
- Go to our website.
- Choose one of the scheduled exam dates that are available.
- Add the exam product to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout to make the payment for the exam. Once we receive your payment, we will officially register you as an MBP participant with Sempertex.
- After completing the payment and registration, you will receive an email with all the necessary information about the upcoming exam. This email contains details about the exam date, time, location, and any additional instructions you need to know.

The evaluation process
The practical exam consists of the assesment of the following criteria:
1 Let your creativity run free
You will create two designs, which will be evaluated. Bring your balloons for your designs on the day of the exam and ensure that each design contains at least three sizes of Sempertex balloons. During the assessment, each participant will present their designs and explain the theme and possible applications within an event.
- Table centerpiece (Maximum score: 15 points)
- Personal design (Maximum score: 15 points)
Total time allocated for designing: Maximum 1 hour
*Evaluation points: A total of 30 points.
2 Decoration at the request of the jury
In this challenge, you will be tasked with creating balloon designs in real-time using the balloons provided by Sempertex.
- Column in 5 or 6 balloon clusters (Maximum score: 20 points)
- Design using the Link-o-Loon® Crossweave technique (Maximum score: 20 points)
- Organic design (Maximum score: 20 points)
Total time allocated for designing: Maximum 1 hour and 30 minutes.
*Evaluation points: A total of 60 points are awarded for the designs.
3 Mastering balloon tools
Your skill in handling essential tools such as the inflator, sizer, and helium tanks will be evaluated. Demonstrate your understanding of their proper use and safety protocols.
*Evaluation points: A total of 10 points are awarded.
